Present during Winter and Spring with sporadic observations in other times of the year

Groups of dozens until hundreds of individuals
Very acrobatic and interactive with the boats
Dive until 60m deep
Very frequent during spring and Summer, being observed in other times of the year

Groups of few individuals to few hundreds
Females normally live longer than males, reaching more than 50 years
It is thought that there is a resident population in Madeira
Seen throughout the year with an increase in sightings during Spring and Summer.

Can stay under water for 75 minutes, reaching 3000m deep
